Major Advocacy
As many people in our community are aware, the city of Cheyenne, the Chamber of Commerce are working to get a new MAJCOM brought to FE Warren AFB.
For those of you (including myself) who do not speak military, the Air Force is essentially re-structuring its Nuclear Weapons program and is deciding where the central command of this new restructured program should go. Based on many different factors, Cheyenne is an excellent place for this command. It would be very beneficial for the Air Force as well as our community. So, the Chamber is sending information about Cheyenne and FE Warren to try and get this MAJCOM placed here. We are creating a Community Sell Package that highlights the many benefits Cheyenne has to offer. It is extensive and should be very helpful. So thank you to those that are helping with this effort, and we will keep all posted about the progress.
